Chulu East Peak Climbing

20 Days
Trip Duration: 20 Days

Overview

Chulu East Peak Climbing is one of the most sought-after trekking peaks in Nepal, perfectly suited for climbers aiming to scale a Himalayan summit above 6,000 meters. Towering at 6,584 meters (21,601 ft), Chulu East offers not only a physically rewarding climb but also jaw-dropping panoramic views of the Annapurna massif, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak, Manaslu, and more.

Nestled high above the picturesque Manang Valley, the peak is part of the Damodar Himal range in the Annapurna region. The summit provides one of the most striking Himalayan vistas and a true mountaineering experience without the need for extreme technical climbing skills—making it perfect for experienced trekkers looking to transition into high-altitude climbing.

Why Climb Chulu East Peak?

  • Popular Climbing Peak among Nepal’s trekking peaks over 6000 meters

  •  Ideal for mountaineers and advanced trekkers

  • Offers 360-degree panoramic views of some of the world’s highest mountains

  • Can be combined with Annapurna Circuit Trek

  • Less crowded than Island Peak or Mera Peak

Major Mountain Views from the Summit:

  • Annapurna II, III, IV

  • Gangapurna & Glacier Dome

  • Dhaulagiri (8,167 m)

  • Tilicho Peak

  • Manaslu (8,163 m)
